TÜRQ's Chaba Khadra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save TÜRQ from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Said Abbas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Mourad Ibrir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TÜRQ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambridge FC the free kick. Mourad Ibrir kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Djamal Boufroura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Said Abbas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Chaba Khadra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambridge FC. Djamal Boufroura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chaba Khadra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Chaba Khadra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamal Boufroura in the 27th minute of play. Salah Maroc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Samir Djebar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match Hocine Hamid Brahima sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samir Djebar skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Djamal Boufroura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chaba Khadra. The goal made the score 3-0. Said Abbas struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Chaba Khadra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambridge FC. In the 48th minute, Cambridge FC's Djamal Boufroura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chaba Khadra. Chaba Khadra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Djamal Boufroura made a kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind TÜRQ's goalkeeper Chaba Khadra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Djamal Boufroura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Djamal Boufroura came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cambridge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamal Boufroura couldn't finish the play. When Cambridge FC's Djamal Boufroura in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambridge FC's goalkeeper Samir Djebar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Djamal Boufroura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
