North Richland Hills's supporters rose to their feet, but Houari Kensi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krim El-Ouafi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mohamed Nima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Ramdane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Mohamed Nima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Krim El-Ouafi, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Nima was the one to do the kick off. Krim El-Ouafi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Nima in the 57th minute of play. If Mohamed Nima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krim El-Ouafi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Nima in the 64th minute of the match. Mohammad Reda Madouni hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Mustapha Mami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Krim El-Ouafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Nima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Mohamed Nima notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cleveland FC's Krim El-Ouafi. Krim El-Ouafi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Samir Schoonmaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelhamid Merah-Benida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 98 minutes into the match, Ali Moussa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jussef Ziani. North Richland Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Moussa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
