Yacine Chaib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Charles Zidān had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noureddine Beloufa in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yacine Chaib prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mounir Cavalli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kassel Medaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Duncanville booed when Bessemer City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasdi Zitouni didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Zidān in the 22nd minute of play forced Bessemer City AFC's goalkeeper Yacine Chaib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Duncanville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Bouziane to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kassel Medaci in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mounir Cavalli saved Duncanville from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Billel Reda Madouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasdi Zitouni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Mounir Cavalli made a huge save. In the 35thth minute of the game Kassel Medaci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duncanville's Mounir Cavalli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasdi Zitouni got free with Mounir Cavalli in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36thth minute Kasdi Zitouni got a great chance to score trying to place the ball in the top left corner, but Mounir Cavalli was prepared and efficiently stopped the ball from getting in. Noureddine Beloufa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Yacine Chaib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bessemer City AFC's Kassel Medaci got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kassel Medaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kassel Medaci was the one to do the kick off. Mounir Cavalli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasdi Zitouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Duncanville's goal looked a bit too open when Kasdi Zitouni came free, but Mounir Cavalli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Duncanville's zone, Kassel Medaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mounir Cavalli came out of the goal and Kassel Medaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelaziz Benflis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Kasdi Zitouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mounir Cavalli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mounir Cavalli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kassel Medaci in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bessemer City AFC's Yacine Chaib got control of the ball when Charles Zidān tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Kasdi Zitouni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Duncanville's zone, Kassel Medaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mounir Cavalli came out of the goal and Kassel Medaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Duncanville players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bessemer City AFC.
