In the 22nd minute Bouzid Hammad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alonso Cabrera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halim Zakaria. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Fodil Saïd-Guerni could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Halim Zakaria however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, 狄南洋 notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Essex's Halim Zakaria. Halim Zakaria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Halim Zakaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonso Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, 狄南洋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Halim Zakaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Cabrera in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Essex's Halim Zakaria got control of the ball when 狄南洋 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bouzid Hammad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 72 minutes, 狄南洋 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defender Hokkaido's supporters crossed their fingers, but 狄南洋 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄南洋 in the 74th minute of play forced Essex's goalkeeper Halim Zakaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes, Tahar Djamel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Essex and the Defender Hokkaido players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game.
