Nasser Bensaoula placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Mount Penn's Ahmed Kerkar got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ali Bouzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Galveston's Hachemi Megharia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Meriem got free with Mohammad Seghiri in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadir Chebal in the 54th minute of play forced Galveston's goalkeeper Mohammad Seghiri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Bouzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Mount Penn's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Bouzid came free, but Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mount Penn's Ahmed Kerkar got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Ali Bouzid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galveston's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mount Penn the free kick. A collision led to Galveston getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ali Bouzid ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th match minute, Mount Penn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthar Bouteflika to maneuver through the defense. The Mount Penn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mount Penn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
