Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Itasca's Sid Ahmed Amri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Mount Penn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amine Horr to maneuver through the defense. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Mohamed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Itasca got a freekick which was hit by Mouloud Tlemcani. Mount Penn's Nasser Bensaoula couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itasca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadir Chebal in the 11th minute of play forced Itasca's goalkeeper Abdelkader Amri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Meriem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Zarabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Nadir Chebal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Penn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hamid Zarabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Nadir Chebal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdelkader Amri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nadir Chebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Meriem scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelkader Amri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nadir Chebal made a kick off. Abdelkader Amri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nadir Chebal in the 55th minute of the match. Abdelkader Amri made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ali Meriem sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Mount Penn defense, Sid Ahmed Amri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura. The Mount Penn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Amine Horr put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Itasca a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ismael Mohamed, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mount Penn's Mohammed Ahmed Ben Boufroura. 2-3. If Sid Ahmed Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Mount Penn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasser Bensaoula to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st match minute, Mount Penn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahar Amara to maneuver through the defense. When Fergani Mamouni came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Itasca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fergani Mamouni couldn't finish the play. After 100 played minutes Itasca got a freekick which was hit by Fergani Mamouni. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
