With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Linares in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferhat Achiu saved Trainer FC from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Jericho AFC's Fawzi Djamel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fawzi Djamel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jericho AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fawzi Djamel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute Rafik Zoheir Sakhri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jericho AFC's Rabah Harkouk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Zoheir Sakhri in the 21st minute of play. Hakim Bouguerra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rabah Harkouk firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Trainer FC's Hakim Bouguerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rabah Harkouk. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Lounès El-Kenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Trainer FC's zone, Adlène Benhabiles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferhat Achiu came out of the goal and Adlène Benhabiles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lounès El-Kenz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rabah Harkouk came out and tried to block the shot, but Lounès El-Kenz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 38th minute. The supporters of Jericho AFC booed when Trainer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Brahmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafik Zoheir Sakhri to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Anther Ouyahia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferhat Achiu skillfully saved the ball. Lazhar Fillali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Trainer FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nuno Linares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Nuno Linares sped through Trainer FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferhat Achiu. A collision led to Jericho AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adlène Benhabiles hit a great ball. Rabah Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lounès El-Kenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Rafik Zoheir Sakhri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rabah Harkouk was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After some careless play in the Trainer FC defense, Nuno Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferhat Achiu. The Trainer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferhat Achiu should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 87 in the game by Nuno Linares from a close distance when the talented Ferhat Achiu managed to make a qualified save. Trainer FC's players were relieved. Adlène Benhabiles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferhat Achiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Trainer FC's Ferhat Achiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Trainer FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Adlène Benhabiles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Trainer FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
