An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Linares in the 4th minute of play forced Portmore Strikers FC's goalkeeper Dida Madjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jericho AFC's Nuno Linares in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portmore Strikers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Chicão Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Dida Madjer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Linares in the 9th minute. Dida Madjer came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Jericho AFC's Nuno Linares. But to his dismay, Nuno Linares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute Mourad Raho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Jericho AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adlène Benhabiles. After a rather tough play, Portmore Strikers FC's Robert Asma got a free kick in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nuno Linares sped through Portmore Strikers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Madjer. In the 33rd minute Mourad Raho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Mourad Raho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rabah Harkouk. Jericho AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mourad Raho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 36th play minutes Nuno Linares shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Dida Madjer and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Nuno Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Madjer was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Lazhar Fillali struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Dida Madjer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jericho AFC. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Linares was the one to do the kick off. When Jericho AFC's Nuno Linares in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Portmore Strikers FC's Dida Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Belkacem in the 55th minute of play. Nuno Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dida Madjer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Jericho AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Harkouk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdel Hamid Otman. If Nuno Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Portmore Strikers FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Abdel Hamid Otman hit a great ball. Nuno Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Portmore Strikers FC's Dida Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Linares in the 73rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nuno Linares sped through Portmore Strikers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Madjer. Nordine Messaoudi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Rabah Harkouk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dida Madjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazhar Fillali in the 83rd minute of play. Nuno Linares took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Madjer. Dida Madjer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Nordine Messaoudi came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rabah Harkouk could save by the left post. There was no doubt that Jericho AFC were the better team. Jericho AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
