Dida Madjer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dida Madjer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Schoonmaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bouzid Zidane scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Madjer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dulce AFC's Fawzi Boutabout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Dulce AFC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Portmore Strikers FC defense, Mohammad Schoonmaker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Madjer. The Portmore Strikers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Madjer should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Portmore Strikers FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Robert Asma hit a great ball. Mohammad Schoonmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dida Madjer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Portmore Strikers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Schoonmaker came free, but Dida Madjer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Portmore Strikers FC's zone, Bouzid Zidane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Madjer came out of the goal and Bouzid Zidane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammad Schoonmaker in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Madjer saved Portmore Strikers FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Schoonmaker in the 37th minute of play forced Portmore Strikers FC's goalkeeper Dida Madjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Portmore Strikers FC's Nordine Messaoudi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fawzi Boutabout made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Dulce AFC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Dulce AFC's Hakim Lemoui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th match minute, Dulce AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelnasser Aribi to maneuver through the defense. Abdelnasser Aribi hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, Rafik Boutella sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dulce AFC's Fawzi Boutabout didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohammad Schoonmaker was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Hakim Lemoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Rafik Boutella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fawzi Boutabout skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Portmore Strikers FC's Dida Madjer got control of the ball when Bouzid Zidane tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Portmore Strikers FC's zone, Mohammad Schoonmaker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Madjer came out of the goal and Mohammad Schoonmaker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Portmore Strikers FC's goalkeeper Dida Madjer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dida Madjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammad Schoonmaker in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Portmore Strikers FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Hamid Otman. 76 minutes into the match, Bouzid Zidane notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Portmore Strikers FC's Dida Madjer. Dida Madjer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bouzid Zidanes short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Dida Madjer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 85 minutes, Bouzid Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dulce AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bouzid Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Dulce AFC's Mohammad Schoonmaker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Madjer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play Portmore Strikers FC's Abdel Hamid Otman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th minute, Abdel Hamid Otman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Schoonmaker in the 91st minute of play forced Portmore Strikers FC's goalkeeper Dida Madjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bouzid Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dida Madjer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Dulce AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nordine Messaoudi came free, but Fawzi Boutabout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Dulce AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Portmore Strikers FC.
