Fodil Kheyari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Khabatou having to interfere. Fodil Belkheir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Khabatou having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, League City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Baptiste Mammeri came free, but Hamid Khabatou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to League City FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Soltani Benyamina hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Baptiste Mammeri in the 32nd minute of play forced League City FC's goalkeeper Hamid Khabatou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Fahima during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmed Fahima kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jean-Baptiste Mammeri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamid Khabatou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Bouzid Khaled recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karim Guendouz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bouzid Khaled, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Las Vegas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. League City FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Baptiste Mammeri to make the kick off. League City FC's Hamid Khabatou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Mammeri in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, League City FC's Bouzid Khaled sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karim Guendouz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Fodil Kheyari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Vegas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave League City FC the free kick. Fodil Kheyari hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Bouzid Khaled was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. League City FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hamid Khabatou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Belkheir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bouzid Khaled received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Karim Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Karim Guendouz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 77 minutes into the match, Jean-Baptiste Mammeri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamid Khabatou. League City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Baptiste Mammeri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Sennaoui in the 80th minute of play forced Las Vegas FC's goalkeeper Karim Guendouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bouzid Khaled could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Karim Guendouz made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ali Sennaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karim Guendouz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Las Vegas FC had won after a very even match.
