With 11 minutes on the clock, Boughera Khadra commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th minute, one of Estrela Negra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Estrela Negra. The referee gave Eddystone a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdelnacer Raï, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estrela Negra's Medjadi Kerkar. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Estrela Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Teissier came free, but Medjadi Kerkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Karim Labi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrela Negra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eddystone the free kick. Medjadi Kerkar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Teissier in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Eddystone's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Zaoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahmoud Boukensa.
