Belaid Djamel had several of the Cudahy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Cheb Djamel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amar Guendouz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amar Guendouz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, West Paterson FC's Amar Guendouz got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Mouloud Belaout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Bencherif's late challenge caught a West Paterson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Noureddine Assad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheb Djamel was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Salah Bensaïd fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Paterson FC's protests and gave Salah Bensaïd a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cudahy booed when West Paterson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Bensaïd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karim Mimoun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nadir Adjani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mouloud Belaout in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karim Mimoun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Belaid Djamel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheb Djamel was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, West Paterson FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilles Boniche fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Amar Guendouz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played.
