Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leon Dahleb got the match started through his kick off. Hemza Boulmerka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sid Moussaoui having to make a save. Hocine Saïdi-Sief could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hakim Belkheir made a huge save. Oxford FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Leon Dahleb scored to the left of an out of position Hakim Belkheir, making the score, 1-0. After 10 minutes, Bouzid Hamdoud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berkeley FC and the Oxford FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berkeley FC's Bouzid Hamdoud got a free kick in the 10th minute. Leon Dahleb might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakim Belkheir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Dahleb ran back to his position shaking his head. 1-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Ismaël Adjaoud elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hakim Belkheir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Dahleb in the 25th minute of play. If Leon Dahleb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Oxford FC got a freekick which was hit by Halim Belaout. Hakim Belkheir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antoine Zitouni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismaël Adjaoud in the 33rd minute of play forced Berkeley FC's goalkeeper Sid Moussaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Ismaël Adjaoud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sid Moussaoui. Berkeley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismaël Adjaoud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 43rd minute Hemza Boulmerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sid Moussaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkeley FC's Hocine Saïdi-Sief got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hemza Boulmerka to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Berkeley FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ismaël Adjaoud fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sid Moussaoui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hemza Boulmerka in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Oxford FC's Ismaël Adjaoud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sid Moussaoui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Hemza Boulmerka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Dahleb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hakim Belkheir having to make a save. Hakim Belkheir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Saïdi-Sief in the 68th minute of play. Hakim Belkheir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hocine Saïdi-Sief, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hemza Boulmerka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Sid Moussaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Moussaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hemza Boulmerka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Leon Dahleb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berkeley FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Hemza Boulmerka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 94th minute of the match Mehdi Belhagj completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mehdi Belhagj a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Oxford FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oxford FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
