Ali Belloumi scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anther Faudel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salim Saïdi-Sief's late challenge caught a Thomson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salim Saïdi-Sief helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Salim Saïdi-Sief hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Oklahoma City's zone, Abderrachid Hamouda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anther Faudel came out of the goal and Abderrachid Hamouda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was beautiful to see Thomson's Rabah Djaout in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 20 played minutes Oklahoma City got a freekick which was hit by Salim Saïdi-Sief. In the 21st minute Abderrachid Hamouda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anther Faudel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Thomson's goalkeeper Rabah Belaout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hakim Mammeri came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Oklahoma City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakim Mammeri couldn't finish the play. Ali Belloumi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anther Faudel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Hakim Mammeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Thomson getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Karim Djenia Lkbira hit a great ball. Thomson's Rabah Belaout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Mammeri in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Abderrachid Hamouda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anther Faudel. The goal made the score 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Abderrachid Hamouda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anther Faudel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abderrachid Hamouda in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anther Faudel saved Oklahoma City from getting behind. Anther Faudel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Belloumi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Abderrachid Hamouda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abderrachid Hamouda in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anther Faudel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamza Khendu during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Abderrachid Hamouda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rabah Belaout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakim Mammeri in the 91st minute.
