Cherif Doutté stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mahmoud Kourichi's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Lazhar Aarache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anderson Mill AFC's Mahmoud Kourichi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cherif Doutté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Kourichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lazhar Aarache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cherif Doutté was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The Jewett City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anderson Mill AFC were winning 0-1.

In the 74th minute, Mahmoud Kourichi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anderson Mill AFC's Madjid Dahleb suffered a sore knee after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game.
