When Karim Medjoudj fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shamrock AFC's protests and gave Karim Medjoudj a yellow card for diving instead. Karim Medjoudj hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tedj Rahouli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rabah Said, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Shamrock AFC's Rabah Said in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of West Elmira FC booed when Shamrock AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Bourebbou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Rabah Said notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of West Elmira FC's Tedj Rahouli. Tedj Rahouli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Smail Fari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Doutté having to interfere. The West Elmira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shamrock AFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yacine Prévost made a kick off. After a rather tough play, West Elmira FC's Souad Harkat got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in West Elmira FC's zone, Fodil Sofiane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tedj Rahouli came out of the goal and Fodil Sofiane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tedj Rahouli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Said, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. West Elmira FC's Tedj Rahouli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Said in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Rabah Said shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedj Rahouli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. West Elmira FC's Tedj Rahouli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Said in the 62nd minute of play. Rabah Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, West Elmira FC's Tedj Rahouli got control of the ball when Fodil Sofiane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karim Medjoudj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tedj Rahouli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shamrock AFC's Fodil Sofiane got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tedj Rahouli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rabah Said's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Mourad Merbah kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Tedj Rahouli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Said in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in West Elmira FC's zone, Karim Medjoudj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tedj Rahouli came out of the goal and Karim Medjoudj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Shamrock AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than West Elmira FC.
