Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faouzi Menguellet in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 何弘锋 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 何弘锋 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chakib Lacen in the 17th minute. 何弘锋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Menguellet in the 18th minute of the match. Chakib Lacen in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 何弘锋, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chakib Lacen's shot from long distance in the 22nd minute was not bad at all, but Yellow Springs1860's 何弘锋 knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 25thth minute of the game Chakib Lacen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yellow Springs1860's 何弘锋 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 何弘锋 was a little too slow when Faouzi Menguellet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. 何弘锋 was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Chakib Lacen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chakib Lacen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 何弘锋. Yellow Springs1860's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abdelkader Benhamou came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Yellow Springs1860's Yohann Bricout. But to his dismay, Yohann Bricout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 何弘锋 made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Chakib Lacen sent off a good shot on target. Sodus FC's Faouzi Menguellet got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Chakib Lacen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faouzi Menguellet in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 何弘锋 saved Yellow Springs1860 from getting behind. If Chakib Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chakib Lacen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faouzi Menguellet in the 51st minute of play forced Yellow Springs1860's goalkeeper 何弘锋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sodus FC's Chakib Lacen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 何弘锋 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yohann Bricout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefanos Vasiliou couldn't finish the play. Stefanos Vasiliou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelkader Benhamou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Chakib Lacen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee ignored Yellow Springs1860's protests and gave Nasserredine Boniche a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yohann Bricout got free with Abdelkader Benhamou in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 何弘锋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Menguellet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Yellow Springs1860's goal looked a bit too open when Chakib Lacen came free, but 何弘锋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faouzi Menguellet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 何弘锋 having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Vasiliou in the 92nd minute of play forced Sodus FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Stefanos Vasiliou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdelkader Benhamou. The goal made the score 4-3.
