After having played for 56 minutes, Rachid Ziani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Ziani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Lacen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-0 when El Lacen sped through Curwensville's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdel Sadmi. Hocine Meriem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nabil in the 73rd minute of the match. Rachid Ziani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdel Sadmi having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, El Lacen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdel Sadmi. Curwensville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that El Lacen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
