An unexpectedly hard shot by Hameur Benhabiles in the 19th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Fawzi Madani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thelma Ouadah shot a long shot in the 84th minute and a light blocked Belaid Ghozali hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-3. When Mustapha Cherrad came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustapha Cherrad couldn't finish the play.
