After 3 played minutes East Coast got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Hendrix. New City's Ahmed Reda Mihoubi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Youssef Bensaoula, made in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Ruddi van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Saadane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruddi van Nistelrooij received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Halim Saadane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jussef Ben Sahraoui hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, New City's Ahmed Reda Mihoubi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Halim Saadane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New City reached it. Hameur Hammad hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Ruddi van Nistelrooij left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Halim Saadane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruddi van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes, Hamid Kerkar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New City and the East Coast players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, New City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Kerkar to maneuver through the defense. Hamid Kerkar got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of East Coast booed when New City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Kerkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Jussef Ben Sahraoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New City's Ahmed Reda Mihoubi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mohamed Zitouni in the 47 minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amrani Said to make the kick off. 53 minutes in the game Mohamed Zitouni did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hameur Hammad. 61 minutes into the game, East Coast's Jimmy Hendrix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismaël Bougherra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 64th minute Jimmy Hendrix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismaël Bougherra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Hendrix took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismaël Bougherra. Ismaël Bougherra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ruddi van Nistelrooij made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by East Coast's Jussef Ben Sahraoui. The throw-in from Mohamed Zitouni in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New City's Ahmed Reda Mihoubi. 77 minutes in the game Mohamed Zitouni did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hameur Hammad. The throw-in from Mohamed Zitouni in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New City's Ahmed Reda Mihoubi. In the 82nd minute, Tayeb Zaaboub fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Halim Saadane, passed just outside the right post. Adlène Cixous recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Reda Mihoubi in the 87th minute of play forced East Coast's goalkeeper Halim Saadane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, East Coast's Mohamed Zitouni got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ahmed Reda Mihoubi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Halim Saadane made a huge save. New City's attentive Ahmed Reda Mihoubi managed to snatch the ball when Mohamed Zitouni made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the New City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for East Coast.
