After 12 played minutes Inter de Quito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Michel Gourion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferhat Bensaïd got free with Guillaume Laurent Malek in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Inter de Quito F.C.'s Chih Mimoun got a free kick in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Inter de Quito F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Bouazza came free, but Guillaume Laurent Malek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cheb Zakaria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zīn ud-Dīn Drid was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ferhat Bensaïd scored 2-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillaume Laurent Malek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Inter de Quito F.C. were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Sofiane Bouazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chih Mimoun's late challenge caught a Redskins F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chih Mimoun helped the player get up and apologised. Chih Mimoun kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zīn ud-Dīn Drid made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Djamel Boulmerka sent off a good shot on target. Inter de Quito F.C.'s Guillaume Laurent Malek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofiane Bouazza in the 63rd minute of play. Guillaume Laurent Malek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhat Bensaïd, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ferhat Bensaïd was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 69 minutes of play, Redskins F.C's Sofiane Bouazza made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillaume Laurent Malek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferhat Bensaïd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Laurent Malek having to interfere. The supporters of Redskins F.C booed when Inter de Quito F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Michel Gourion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofiane Bouazza took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillaume Laurent Malek. Guillaume Laurent Malek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Bensaïd in the 83rd minute of play forced Inter de Quito F.C.'s goalkeeper Guillaume Laurent Malek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Jean-Michel Gourion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofiane Bouazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Laurent Malek having to interfere. Zīn ud-Dīn Drid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Zakaria in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Inter de Quito F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat Bensaïd came free, but Guillaume Laurent Malek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Redskins F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
