In the 18th match minute, Progress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Bencherif to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Cherrad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Hadjadj in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Vestavia Hills FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Baba Ali Boniche to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustapha Iles. 32 minutes into the match, Progress's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Fellahi came free, but Rachid Cherrad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Mustapha Iles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rachid Cherrad, 2-0. Mohamed Hadjadj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rachid Cherrad made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Karim Fellahi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vestavia Hills FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Fellahi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rachid Cherrad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Fellahi in the 45th minute of the match. Rachid Cherrad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustapha Iles in the 47th minute.

After 55 minutes of play, Vestavia Hills FC's Karim Fellahi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rachid Cherrad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohamed Hadjadj took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rachid Cherrad. Rachid Cherrad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Progress's Rachid Cherrad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Fellahi in the 69th minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Ouyahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Belaid Menguellet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Baptiste Ouyahia struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Belaid Menguellet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progress. Ahmed Reda Hamid Brahima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mohamed Hadjadj came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Vestavia Hills FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Hadjadj couldn't finish the play. Mustapha Iles scored 5-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rachid Cherrad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rachid Cherrad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Hadjadj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Progress fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
