In the 27th minute Mahmoud Bouziane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khair ad-Din Zaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khair ad-Din Zaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boughera Zitouni in the 30th minute of the match. Brockport's Mohamed Méniri got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 42nd minute, but Mohammed Doutté got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cimarron Hills FC hanging dry this time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Méniri made a kick off. Cimarron Hills FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brockport the free kick.
