After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Black Zone! The Sun Super Stars fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Sun Super Stars's Lounès Sakhri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paul Classon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasdi Zarabi having to interfere. FC Black Zone were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Sun Super Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmed Bessou took the corner. 33 minutes into the game, Lounès Sakhri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sun Super Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Black Zone the free kick. After 36 minutes Sun Super Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmed Bessou who took care of the corner kick. FC Black Zone's Ahmed Bessou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Mateus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sun Super Stars's Abelardo Mateus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Sun Super Stars from getting a goal against them. Abelardo Mateus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohammed Zouba in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohammed Zouba to strike the kick off in the second half. Lounès Sakhri struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Kasdi Zarabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sun Super Stars. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Abd al-Asis Hamrouche managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Black Zone's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd al-Asis Hamrouche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lounès Sakhri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Black Zone's Kasdi Zarabi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Black Zone from getting a goal against them. Paul Classon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasdi Zarabi having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Black Zone's Kasdi Zarabi got control of the ball when Paul Classon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Black Zone's zone, Paul Classon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasdi Zarabi came out of the goal and Paul Classon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Classon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Kasdi Zarabi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abelardo Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abd al-Asis Hamrouche in the 87th minute of the match. Kasdi Zarabi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Paul Classon sent off a good shot on target. Sun Super Stars were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after FC Black Zone's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdulhamid Larbes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lounès Sakhri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kasdi Zarabi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 95th match minute, Sun Super Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thelma Dib to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Sun Super Stars left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Black Zone.
