Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Merrionette's Jens-Ove Eliasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Noureddine Cohen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskuin Izaguirre couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Benamar Benmabrouk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Rachid Yahia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merrionette's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boltwind United the free kick. Rachid Yahia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A collision led to Boltwind United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mourad Radjef hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Benamar Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boltwind United's supporters rose to their feet, but Benamar Benmabrouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheb Meniri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Kassel Ben Khalidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheb Meniri was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Boltwind United defense, Jens-Ove Eliasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yacine Bouchemla. The Boltwind United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yacine Bouchemla should have stopped the shot. Merrionette's Cheb Meniri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kassel Ben Khalidi in the 41st minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kassel Ben Khalidi to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Boltwind United got a freekick which was hit by Benamar Benmabrouk. Merrionette's Cheb Meniri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Merrionette from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Besseghir in the 59th minute of play forced Merrionette's goalkeeper Cheb Meniri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhammad Daham struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Yacine Bouchemla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merrionette. 70 minutes into the match, Merrionette's goal looked a bit too open when Kassel Ben Khalidi came free, but Cheb Meniri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Merrionette's zone, Karim Bella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheb Meniri came out of the goal and Karim Bella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Merrionette's goal looked a bit too open when Frantz Bensaoula came free, but Cheb Meniri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Merrionette's goalkeeper Cheb Meniri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kassel Ben Khalidi. After 87 played minutes Merrionette got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Soltani. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
