But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Sifi couldn't finish the play. Noureddine Bouzid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Sifi in the 17th minute of the match. Nasser Amara struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Faouzi Gourion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schertz AFC. Noureddine Bouzid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Daham in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Idylwood's Edmond Sifi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noureddine Bouzid was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmond Sifi took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noureddine Bouzid. Noureddine Bouzid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Schertz AFC defense, Edmond Sifi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noureddine Bouzid. The Schertz AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noureddine Bouzid should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Idylwood getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Noureddine Daham hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Chaba Matmour left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Idylwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of Idylwood booed when Schertz AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farid Kermali didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmond Sifi made a kick off. Chaba Matmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Noureddine Bouzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chaba Matmour got free with Noureddine Bouzid in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hamid Hamdani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schertz AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Hamdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faouzi Gourion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Souad Bouzid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, Nasser Amara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schertz AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nasser Amara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, one of Schertz AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Noureddine Bouzid had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Souad Bouzid's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Noureddine Bouzid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Farès Medjoudj in the 76th minute. Chaba Matmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Bouzid having to interfere. In the 87th minute Benamar Bellemou Messaoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Bouzid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Schertz AFC's Noureddine Bouzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Sifi in the 92nd minute of play.
