Hermiston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bouzid Sahraoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Souakri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussef Ben Harkouk in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Jussef Ben Harkouk made a precise shot to the right of Mohamed Souakri. Hermiston AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bouzid Sahraoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Medjadi Rimitti made a huge save. Mohamed Souakri came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzales FC's El Bruel. But to his dismay, El Bruel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling El Bruel in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Souakri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 49 minutes into the match, Hermiston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jussef Ben Harkouk came free, but Mohamed Souakri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and El Bruel made a kick off. Bouzid Sahraoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Gonzales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bouzid Sahraoui came free, but Medjadi Rimitti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed Souakri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After 69 minutes, Boughera Belmadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermiston AFC and the Gonzales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Hermiston AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gonzales FC:s goal. Through a series of nice moves, Gonzales FC's Hamid Nasro on his own came free in the 72nd minute of the match and shot 1-4 behind a disappointed Mohamed Souakri. Gonzales FC's Medjadi Rimitti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Benhabiles in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bouzid Sahraoui in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Medjadi Rimitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jussef Ben Harkouk in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mohamed Souakri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bouzid Sahraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medjadi Rimitti having to interfere. Medjadi Lacen kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gonzales FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
