In the 9th minute, Khalida Benhabiles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Bouzid Sahraoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Idylwood booed when Hermiston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayeb Boulebda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmond Sifi got free with Mohamed Souakri in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bouzid Sahraoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Noureddine Horr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Hermiston AFC's Bouzid Sahraoui got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Farès Medjoudj let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 34th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Mohamed Souakri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Farès Medjoudj showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Khalida Benhabiles was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Noureddine Horr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermiston AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Sifi in the 57th minute of play forced Hermiston AFC's goalkeeper Mohamed Souakri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faouzi Gourion made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bouzid Sahraoui sent off a good shot on target. Bouzid Sahraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Gourion having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hermiston AFC's Tayeb Boulebda got a free kick in the 68th minute. Edmond Sifi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chaba Matmour might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Souakri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chaba Matmour ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Edmond Sifi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohamed Souakri was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Idylwood's goalkeeper Faouzi Gourion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noureddine Horr. After 82 minutes, Noureddine Horr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermiston AFC and the Idylwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Medjadi Lacen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Faouzi Gourion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Idylwood's Faouzi Gourion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Idylwood from getting a goal against them. Mohamed Souakri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Sifi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Bouzid Sahraoui took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faouzi Gourion. Faouzi Gourion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
