The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amar Labi made a kick off. In the 65th minute Amar Labi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Belloumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hopkinton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Metzger AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Metzger AFC.
