The referee ignored Lincoln Villsage's protests and gave Ahmed Brahmi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Lincoln Villsage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Brahmi to maneuver through the defense. Kamel Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Aziz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tenafly FC's zone, Kamel Ziani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Aziz came out of the goal and Kamel Ziani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rachid Aziz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hicham Bouteflika showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 24 minutes, Kamel Ziani made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tenafly FC's Rachid Aziz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hicham Bouteflika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Aziz having to interfere. Lincoln Villsage were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Tenafly FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Khalida Djamel took the corner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nadir Kouri was the one to do the kick off. Tenafly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nadir Kouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
