After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

King's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fouad Messaoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, King was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fouad Messaoud to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Coventry City's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Matmour came free, but Hocine Morceli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Djamal Skif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hocine Morceli. Coventry City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djamal Skif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.
