Rafik Zeghdoud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jussef Ben Hamdani during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, American Canyon's goalkeeper Rafik Zeghdoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nasreddine Apap. In the 22nd minute, Abdellah Bezzaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafik Zeghdoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussef Ben Hamdani in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amrani Mansouri got free with Rafik Zeghdoud in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafik Zeghdoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jussef Ben Hamdani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Ben Zarabi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Jericho AFC's Nasreddine Apap dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Chadli Abdelghani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chih Benhamou in the 36th minute of play. Nasreddine Apap took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafik Zeghdoud. Rafik Zeghdoud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rafik Zeghdoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ben Zarabi in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chih Benhamou to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind American Canyon's goalkeeper Rafik Zeghdoud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. American Canyon's Rafik Zeghdoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussef Ben Hamdani in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jussef Ben Hamdani in the 59th minute of play forced American Canyon's goalkeeper Rafik Zeghdoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Nasreddine Apap had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafik Zeghdoud. American Canyon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasreddine Apap was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rafik Zeghdoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasreddine Apap, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. El Bouzid kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. American Canyon's Rafik Zeghdoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasreddine Apap in the 74th minute of play. Jussef Ben Hamdani took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafik Zeghdoud. Rafik Zeghdoud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jussef Ben Hamdani in the 81st minute of play forced American Canyon's goalkeeper Rafik Zeghdoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Jussef Ben Hamdani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafik Zeghdoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Bouzid hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nasreddine Apap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafik Zeghdoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasreddine Apap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jericho AFC's Jussef Ben Hamdani got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ferhat Matmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jericho AFC had won after a very even match.
