In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zenit FC's goalkeeper Brasil Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jussef Ben Hamdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Zenit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Rahouli to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match, Lawrence Jetzer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chadli Abdelghani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Jericho AFC's Chadli Abdelghani got control of the ball when Fawzi Hanin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fawzi Hanin in the 79th minute of play forced Jericho AFC's goalkeeper Chadli Abdelghani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
