Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mustapha Ghazi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, El Bezzaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafik Zéroual received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daho Yacef came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafik Zéroual slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Farid El-Hadi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Lewes got a freekick which was hit by Farid El-Hadi. El Bezzaz's late challenge caught a King's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. El Bezzaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Lewes got a freekick which was hit by El Bezzaz. The supporters of Lewes booed when King was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fouad Messaoud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lewes's goalkeeper Daho Yacef, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cheb Hima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Cixous in the 21st minute of play. When Fouad Messaoud fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored King's protests and gave Fouad Messaoud a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes King got a freekick which was hit by Fouad Messaoud. An unexpectedly hard shot by Souad Ghazi in the 26th minute of play forced King's goalkeeper Cheb Hima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Cheb Hamruche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daho Yacef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Matmour in the 32nd minute of the match. Fouad Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Daho Yacef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daho Yacef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Matmour in the 37th minute of play. Lewes's Daho Yacef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samir Matmour in the 39th minute of play. Fouad Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Daho Yacef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Djamal Skif stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lewes's Farid El-Hadi got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Lewes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid El-Hadi to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes of play, King's Djamal Skif made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daho Yacef was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Lewes's El Bezzaz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Samir Matmour scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daho Yacef, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cheb Hima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hocine Cixous, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Lewes's Abdelmalek Moussa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cheb Hima. Cheb Hima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Djamal Skif blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daho Yacef having to make a save. Hocine Cixous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djamal Skif hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cheb Hima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayeb Kourichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The King support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
