Mounir Yahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 22 minutes, Fadhil Brahimi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lake Carmel and the FC Ryūkyū players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fadhil Brahimi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Lake Carmel defense, Șerban Panduru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salah Hanister. The Lake Carmel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salah Hanister should have stopped the shot. Bouzid Harkouk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Hanister having to interfere. Safy Harkouk might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salah Hanister. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Safy Harkouk ran back to his position shaking his head. Bouzid Harkouk scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salah Hanister, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Lake Carmel's goal looked a bit too open when Bouzid Harkouk came free, but Salah Hanister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bouzid Harkouk in the 63rd minute of play forced Lake Carmel's goalkeeper Salah Hanister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salah Hanister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bouzid Harkouk, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Lake Carmel's Meziane Zerara got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, FC Ryūkyū's Șerban Panduru made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salah Hanister was left in no man's land by his defense there!
