With an extended leg and a bit of luck Madhi Halimi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th match minute, Negaunee FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasser Mohand to maneuver through the defense. Salah Ahmed in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Madhi Halimi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayeb Bella during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tayeb Bella hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lead booed when Negaunee FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Azem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belaid El Ouafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madhi Halimi having to interfere. Belaid El Ouafis short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Madhi Halimi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute Cheikha El-Hadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Djahnine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yazid Benmabrouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Madhi Halimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Yazid Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yazid Benmabrouk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alain Djahnine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacine Belkhadem in the 37th minute of the match. Salah Ahmed kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Lead got a freekick which was hit by Tayeb Larfaoui. In the 43rd minute, Salah Ahmed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Madhi Halimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Besseghir in the 44th minute of the match. If Belaid El Ouafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Yacine Belkhadem made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Lead's Belaid El Ouafi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Madhi Halimi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Lead getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Salah Ahmed hit a great ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alain Djahnine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Salah Ahmed hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Lead's Hocine Besseghir got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Lead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salah Ahmed to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, one of Lead:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Alain Djahnine, was totally fooled by Negaunee FC's Mohamed Hamruche, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute, Cheikha El-Hadi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alain Djahnine was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Mahieddine Louahla charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mahieddine Louahla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Negaunee FC's Madhi Halimi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 98 minutes into the match, Lead's goal looked a bit too open when Yacine Belkhadem came free, but Alain Djahnine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Negaunee FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
