A collision led to Poplar Bluff AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rafik Bentifour hit a great ball. Abdel Hamid Chaouchi had several of the St. Bernard's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rachid Zidān as he didn't even see the shot coming. 26 minutes into the match, St. Bernard's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Hamid Chaouchi came free, but Rachid Zidān reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hocine Oussalah took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rachid Zidān. Rachid Zidān dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 32nd minute Abdel Hamid Chaouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Zidān saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khair ad-Din Khabatou scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Medjadi Lacen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Concetto Tesone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hocine Djura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Medjadi Lacen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kamel Achiu's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Medjadi Lacen on his right side and into the goal. 52 minutes into the game it was 2-2. In the 56th minute, Khair ad-Din Khabatou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Medjadi Lacen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 59 played minutes Poplar Bluff AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abderrachid Achiou. Khair ad-Din Khabatou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medjadi Lacen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khair ad-Din Khabatou went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 69thth minute of the game Abdel Hamid Chaouchi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. Bernard's Rachid Zidān was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheb Zaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Poplar Bluff AFC's Medjadi Lacen got control of the ball when Khair ad-Din Khabatou tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Hocine Oussalah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. Bernard's Rachid Zidān was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Poplar Bluff AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafik Bentifour to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Zidān showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hocine Oussalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Poplar Bluff AFC's Medjadi Lacen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Poplar Bluff AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Poplar Bluff AFC's Rafik Zoheir Saadane got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Ricardo Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Poplar Bluff AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Medjadi Lacen should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. St. Bernard had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
