Ubaldo Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Oussalah in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Allentown's Hamid Amara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Medjadi Lacen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafik Zoheir Saadane's late challenge caught a Allentown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafik Zoheir Saadane helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Poplar Bluff AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Zoheir Saadane. Medjadi Lacen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamid Amara's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Abdel Hamid Chaouchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Mero was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Amrani Sad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ubaldo Mero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 39 minutes Allentown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amrani Sad who took care of the corner kick. Ubaldo Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Zoheir Saadane, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Allentown defense, Hocine Oussalah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Mero. The Allentown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Mero should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdel Hamid Chaouchi to make the kick off. Mauro Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medjadi Lacen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Allentown's Hamid Amara got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Rafik Bentifour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Allentown's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Hamid Chaouchi came free, but Ubaldo Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poplar Bluff AFC's Rafik Zoheir Saadane got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ubaldo Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 61st minute of the match. When Poplar Bluff AFC's Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hocine Oussalah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ubaldo Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allentown's Ubaldo Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Allentown from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Hocine Oussalah took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ubaldo Mero to make any attempt to save it. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Poplar Bluff AFC's Amrani Sad got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ubaldo Mero. 94 minutes into the match, Poplar Bluff AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Amara came free, but Medjadi Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Hamid Amara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medjadi Lacen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poplar Bluff AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
