Spectators: 9224 (Terracing: 6919, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdel Hamid Chaouchi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Poplar Bluff AFC's zone, Severo Chinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medjadi Lacen came out of the goal and Severo Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Audubon's Cherif Zitouni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Medjadi Lacen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Audubon's Hemza Zarabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Hocine Oussalah took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hemza Zarabi to make any attempt to save it. Poplar Bluff AFC's Medjadi Lacen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Chinto in the 17th minute of play. Audubon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Abdel Hamid Chaouchi scored to the left of an out of position Hemza Zarabi, making the score, 2-0. Rafik Zoheir Saadane succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 21st playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Poplar Bluff AFC's Ricardo Estavan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hemza Zarabi. That made the score 4-0 after 24 minutes of play. Hemza Zarabi made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Hocine Oussalah sent off a good shot on target. Audubon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Karim Rahouli scored to the left of an out of position Hemza Zarabi, making the score, 5-0. If André Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Audubon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Iniesta to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Chinto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Abdel Karim Merah-Benida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes Audubon got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Karim Merah-Benida. Hemza Zarabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amrani Sad in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Audubon getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Chadli Ziani hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Hocine Oussalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemza Zarabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Poplar Bluff AFC's Abdel Hamid Chaouchi made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hemza Zarabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Audubon got a freekick which was hit by André Iniesta. Hemza Zarabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Oussalah in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Hemza Zarabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hemza Zarabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdel Hamid Chaouchi's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Rafik Zoheir Saadane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemza Zarabi having to interfere. Medjadi Lacen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Poplar Bluff AFC's Ricardo Estavan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Audubon's Hemza Zarabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 88th minute of play. Medjadi Lacen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes, Ricardo Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poplar Bluff AFC and the Audubon players grew even worse after the yellow card. 92 minutes into the game, one of Poplar Bluff AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Medjadi Lacen had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Süruri Mukremin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Chinto during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Poplar Bluff AFC booed when Audubon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Poplar Bluff AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
