Hemza Zarabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Ahmed Ben Amara in the 6th minute of the match. Sid Ahmed Haddadj's late challenge caught a Audubon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sid Ahmed Haddadj helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Audubon booed when Allentown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Ahmed Haddadj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Allentown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Daham to maneuver through the defense. When Süruri Mukremin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Audubon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süruri Mukremin couldn't finish the play. Hamid Amara took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hemza Zarabi. Hemza Zarabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Severo Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Corbuț charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Corbuț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Corbuț hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cherif Zitouni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Chinto in the 31st minute of play. When Mohammed Ahmed Ben Gaouaoui fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Allentown's protests and gave Mohammed Ahmed Ben Gaouaoui a yellow card for diving instead. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Gaouaoui hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Chinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Audubon getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. André Iniesta hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Severo Chinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Mero was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Luizão Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Süruri Mukremin in the 58th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ubaldo Mero's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cherif Zitouni in the 60th minute of play forced Allentown's goalkeeper Ubaldo Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Chinto in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Allentown's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Heddou came free, but Ubaldo Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cherif Zitouni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohammed Ahmed Ben Amara got free with Hemza Zarabi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Severo Chinto notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Allentown's Ubaldo Mero. Ubaldo Mero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Allentown's goal looked a bit too open when Cherif Zitouni came free, but Ubaldo Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Audubon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
