An unexpectedly hard shot by Cherif Zitouni in the 22nd minute of play forced New Britain's goalkeeper Toufik Faudel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Severo Chinto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of New Britain's Toufik Faudel. In the 55th minute, Severo Chinto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toufik Faudel. The goal made the score 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Chinto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toufik Faudel saved New Britain from getting behind. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Severo Chinto sped through New Britain's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toufik Faudel. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind New Britain's goalkeeper Toufik Faudel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The coaching staff of Audubon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ahmed Medaci had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 87th minute, one of Audubon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Audubon. Karim Boudjedra shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.
