The supporters of atlético booed when Junction City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Babb didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Eguen got free with Mahieddine Djeballi in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 67 minutes, Ernesto Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. atlético's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. atlético made a substitution. Nadir Mami replaced Mourad Kouici. After 69 played minutes Junction City FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Bonifaco. With an all-out effort, atlético's Mahieddine Djeballi threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Dominix, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
