If Yacine Sennaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 17 in the game by Rabah Timsit from a close distance when the talented Guillaume Laurent Mansouri managed to make a qualified save. River Falls FC's players were relieved. In the 18th minute of the match, Ali Boufroura tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillaume Laurent Mansouri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Falls FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ismael Belloumi was slow to take the kick. During this time THE OLD BOYS's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Houari Rimitti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Rabah Timsit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th of the match, Ali Boufroura tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Guillaume Laurent Mansouri got in the way and made a wonderful save. With his leg Guillaume Laurent Mansouri managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when THE OLD BOYS's Rabah Timsit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Boufroura in the 46th minute of play forced River Falls FC's goalkeeper Guillaume Laurent Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rabah Timsit's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Guillaume Laurent Mansouri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Boufroura made a kick off. After some careless play in the THE OLD BOYS defense, Yacine Sennaoui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamid Morceli. The THE OLD BOYS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamid Morceli should have stopped the shot. Hamid Morceli made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mamaar Bouzid sent off a good shot on target. In the 59thth minute of the game Ali Boufroura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Falls FC's Guillaume Laurent Mansouri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by THE OLD BOYS's Ali Boufroura. But to his dismay, Ali Boufroura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when THE OLD BOYS's Rabah Timsit shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ali Boufroura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillaume Laurent Mansouri having to make a save. Ali Boufroura took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillaume Laurent Mansouri. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Timsit in the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rabah Timsit in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillaume Laurent Mansouri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. River Falls FC's Guillaume Laurent Mansouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Boufroura in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Abd al-Asis Bentaala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Falls FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE OLD BOYS the free kick. 84 minutes into the match, Houari Rimitti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillaume Laurent Mansouri. River Falls FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Houari Rimitti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-2. River Falls FC's Guillaume Laurent Mansouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Timsit in the 97th minute of play.
