Chihiro Club's Zheng Chong Yue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Houari Rimitti in the 7th minute of play. Zheng Chong Yue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Boufroura in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Rabah Timsit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zheng Chong Yue. Chihiro Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rabah Timsit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A hard shot 16 in the game by Rabah Timsit from a close distance when the talented Zheng Chong Yue managed to make a qualified save. Chihiro Club's players were relieved. In the 18th minute of the match THE OLD BOYS got a corner. Chihiro Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ismael Belloumi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Chihiro Club getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cheikha Fergani hit a great ball. Chihiro Club's Zheng Chong Yue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Boufroura in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Rabah Timsit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rabah Timsit managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE OLD BOYS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rabah Timsit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zheng Chong Yue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zheng Chong Yue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Houari Rimitti's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The corner led THE OLD BOYS's Ismael Belloumi to fire away a dangerous shot which Zheng Chong Yue despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Anšlavs Seletickis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zheng Chong Yue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Boufroura in the 44th minute of play. When Hamid Kourichi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chihiro Club's protests and gave Hamid Kourichi a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Boufroura to strike the kick off in the second half. Djamel Abdi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamid Morceli. Hamid Morceli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hamid Abdessalam kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Chihiro Club's Cheb Haddou shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hamid Morceli but with some difficulty. Zheng Chong Yue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Timsit in the 65th minute of the match. THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Taha in the 68th minute of play. When Houari Rimitti came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the THE OLD BOYS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Houari Rimitti couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Abdi in the 72nd minute of play forced THE OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Hamid Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chihiro Club were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after THE OLD BOYS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gugu Mineiro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Chihiro Club's corner Gugu Mineiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hamid Morceli quite easily take care of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Chihiro Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fathi Ben Khalidi came free, but Zheng Chong Yue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamid Morceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anšlavs Seletickis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Chihiro Club's Zheng Chong Yue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Timsit in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, THE OLD BOYS's Ali Boufroura made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zheng Chong Yue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zheng Chong Yue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Bäckström in the 89th minute of play. Zheng Chong Yue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Timsit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, THE OLD BOYS's Ali Boufroura got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The THE OLD BOYS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chihiro Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
