Spectators: 8680 (Terracing: 6500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 180) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rabah Timsit took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hamid Morceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Rogiers, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Abdessalem Abdessalam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamid Morceli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Derwin in the 7th minute of the match. THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Rogiers in the 12th minute of play. Abdessalem Abdessalam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdessalem Abdessalam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rabah Timsit in the 16th minute. Houari Rimitti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abdessalem Abdessalam firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hamid Morceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Rogiers in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rabah Timsit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdessalem Abdessalam. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Adab FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Rogiers to maneuver through the defense. Florin Imperatore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hamid Morceli. THE OLD BOYS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. THE OLD BOYS's Ismael Belloumi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Adab FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Chian to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Rogiers got free with Hamid Morceli in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Oliver Rogiers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli got control of the ball when Calistrat Cămătaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adab FC's Abd al-Asis Lacen was substituted for Isaac Derwin. In the 83rd minute of the match THE OLD BOYS got a corner. Adab FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ismael Belloumi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 84 played minutes THE OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Zerara. Florin Imperatore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hamid Morceli. THE OLD BOYS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Oliver Rogiers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamid Morceli. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 93rd minute Ahmed Tahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Morceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Adab FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
