An unexpectedly hard shot by El Boudiaf in the 15th minute of play forced THE OLD BOYS's goalkeeper Hamid Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezary Gniewek got free with Hamid Morceli in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taliban FC's Mohamed Abrika pulled a muscle in his leg after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hamid Abdessalam charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Taliban FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nordine Nasri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 52nd minute of the match Taliban FC got a corner. THE OLD BOYS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nordine Nasri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nordine Nasri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli did a great save. Rabah Timsit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kristián Pražan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Morceli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from El Boudiaf in the 55th minute of the match. Hamid Morceli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Gniewek in the 59th minute of the match. Hamid Morceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that El Boudiaf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamid Morceli was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. THE OLD BOYS's Hamid Morceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek Zerara in the 77th minute of play. Taliban FC's attack was well implemented in the 78th minute, but when Abdelmalek Zerara was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
