An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Menad in the 14th minute of play forced Bolivar's goalkeeper Afiz Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Stöckert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Stöckert took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny van der Sar. Johnny van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goalkeeper Afiz Ching had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djamal Beloufa. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Bolivar made a substitution. Bruno Pasquino replaced Mahieddine Zitouni. The La manada fc fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when La manada fc's Samir Menad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Johnny van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Cordrey in the 58th minute of play. Tedj Sellal came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Johnny van der Sar could save by the left post. Afiz Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamal Beloufa in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Kamel Medaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La manada fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivar the free kick. After 64 played minutes La manada fc got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Medaci. With a little luck, La manada fc's Johnny van der Sar got control of the ball when Senijad Ibričić tried to sneak it across the goal line. La manada fc's Johnny van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save La manada fc from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samir Menad in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Ching saved Bolivar from getting behind. Bolivar's Afiz Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamal Beloufa in the 78th minute of play. Johnny van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Cordrey in the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, La manada fc's Samir Menad made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afiz Ching was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salah Belhagj's late challenge caught a Bolivar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salah Belhagj helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La manada fc's Salah Belhagj got a free kick in the 86th minute. Mehdi Larbes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. La manada fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
