When Rogerio Naretto came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the CARLOS AGUILA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogerio Naretto couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute of the match CARLOS AGUILA F.C. got a corner. Chincolco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Maier ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Abundio Durney getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Chincolco FC's Jacob Gallegos got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnín Guillermo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Utreras saved Chincolco FC from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Saturnín Guillermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Utreras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Saturnín Guillermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnín Guillermo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Utreras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Saturnín Guillermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chincolco FC's zone, Natalio Maier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Utreras came out of the goal and Natalio Maier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, Chincolco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Montalva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chincolco FC's Laureano Montalva got a free kick in the 64th minute. Natalio Maier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Utreras having to interfere. Octavio Utreras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saturnín Guillermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
