The coaching staff of Pupio FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henrico Akel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 18 minutes into the game, one of Pupio FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Chincolco FC's Pedro Maffet got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Txomin Marshall. The audience was convinced that Pere Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Utreras was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Octavio Utreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pere Cox in the 31st minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Márton Szabó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Utreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pere Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, René Scarano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pupio FC and the Chincolco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, René Scarano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Jacob Gallegos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octavio Utreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pere Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pere Cox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Utreras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Pere Cox came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pupio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pere Cox couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Cristofer Rivera had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Prudentio Martínez de Aldunate charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Chincolco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Octavio Utreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pere Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chincolco FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Pupio FC for much of the match.
