The Quillen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Campaña should have stopped the shot. Telmo Peluchonneau charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telmo Peluchonneau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pedegua getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Telmo Peluchonneau hit a great ball. Ezequiel Fabres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Laureano Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Campaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavián Boza, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ezequiel Fabres came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laureano Bennet could save by the left post. If Xavián Boza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gualberto Duble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Xavián Boza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quillen FC's Erik Campaña. Erik Campaña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualberto Duble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavián Boza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikel Chacon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedegua's Gualberto Duble got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gualberto Duble came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Pedegua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualberto Duble couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Victorino Oruna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Parrasia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavián Boza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Campaña having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Damario Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quillen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damario Astudillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Ysmael Lauwerens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damario Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Manuel Olivares hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Xavián Boza struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Erik Campaña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedegua. In the 95th match minute, Quillen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikel Chacon to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
